Shipping Policy on Penn State Merchandise


Shipping Policy

PennStateClothes.com offers free Economy shipping on all orders over $50!  There is no coupon necessary to receive free shipping; just select the Economy method during checkout.

PennStateClothes.com operates Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm, and uses Fedex, UPS, and USPS for delivery.  The majority of our orders ship from our downtown State College, PA, location within 48 hours of being placed. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a courtesy e-mail with your tracking number. If there happens to be a problem with your order, you will receive an email or telephone call from a member of our team to resolve any issues that may have arisen.

To reduce the chance of your order being delayed, please enter the credit card's proper billing address. PennStateClothes.com will not be held responsible for any delay that is caused by an incorrect billing address. All international credit cards must be verified before your order can be processed and shipped. If there is an issue with your order, you will be contacted via e-mail. Please check spam and junk folders as well.

PennStateClothes.com is NOT responsible for shipping delays caused by incorrect information and will not issue refunds due to weather conditions or other unforeseen events and occurrences once the package has been shipped.

 

Signature Required Shipments

Orders over $500 will be shipped via FedEx Ground with an indirect signature required, at no additional cost. 

If you would like to forgo the signature, please put a request in the Order Comments box. If you choose to decline the signature, we will not be liable to replace or refund the order should a claim be denied by FedEx.

Indirect signature required (ISR) FedEx may release the package in one of three ways:

• Obtaining a signature from someone at the delivery address.

• Acquiring a signature from a neighbor, building manager, or other person at a neighboring address.

• Gaining authorization from the recipient to release the package without anyone present.

 

Explanation of Shipping Methods Offered

  • Economy- This method will have the package delivered between 2 to 14 business days and is for US addresses only.
  • Express Flex (2-10 Bus Days)- This method will have the package delivered between 2 to 6 business days.
  • Fedex/UPS Ground (1-6 Days)- This method will have the package delivered between 1 to 6 business days.
  • Next Day (1 Bus Day)- This method will have your package delivered within one (1) business day of being shipped.
  • 2 Day (2 Bus Day)- This method will have your package delivered within two (2) business days of being shipped.
  • 3 DAY- This method will have your package delivered within three (3) business days of being shipped.
  • INTERNATIONAL - This method ships via USPS. With this option, international orders may take between 3- 21 business days depending on the destination of the package and the shipping method selected.  Please see below for further details.
  • CURB SIDE/IN STORE PICK UP- With this method, we will have your order pulled and waiting for you when you arrive to our downtown State College location after 1 business day from when your order was placed (Please note: we do not process orders over the weekend). We will hold your order at our store for 14 days to be picked up. If you do not pick up your order within the 14 days, we will cancel your order and return your merchandise. 
  • You will receive two (2) e-mails from us. The first email is your confirmation email that states your order was received. This DOES NOT mean your order is ready for pick up. The second email will let you know that your order is ready for pick-up and will include instructions on how to proceed.
    • In Store Pick Up Instructions:
      • Walk up to the front register and provide us with the first and last name on the order. Please have the order number and/or confirmation email on hand in case there are any difficulties with locating your order.
    • Curbside Instructions:
      • Call (888)237-1946 with the description of the vehicle you are driving (make, model, color, etc).
      • Pull up near our store (within 1 block of The Family Clothesline). 
  • Orders placed online with this service on Friday (after 2pm) through Sunday will not be processed until Monday.

 

PO Boxes and Military Address

To ship to P.O. Boxes, you can choose either our Economy or Express Flex option. Our expedited options are available for PO Boxes.

To ship to Military AA/AE/AP addresses, Express Flex will be the only option available. Please note, Military addresses incur a $15.00 shipping fee. Estimated shipping times range from 3 to 14 business days.

 

Shipping Orders Internationally

If you would like to place an order for international shipping, please give us a call at (888)237-1946,  email us at [email protected], or place an order online with a close approximation of your shipping address and then include the full, correct shipping address and phone number in the Order Comments section during checkout. For convenience, you can also list our address in the shipping information if you are not able to list your address in the shipping address fields.  Once we receive the order we will contact you via email to let you know the different shipping options/prices available to you as the price may vary from the default price of $32.50 based off weight, dimensions of the packaging, and desired shipping address. 

*Due to the recent changes made to VAT taxes as a result of Brexit, we do not currently ship to the UK.
